If you have a Michigan medical marijuana card, bring it along. At Herbal Solutions, medical patients automatically receive 10% off all regularly priced menu items.
Beyond ID, you'll want to bring cash or a debit card. While the cannabis industry is increasingly accepting digital payments, many retailers still rely heavily on cash. We have an ATM on-site if needed.

They're not going to judge you for not knowing the difference between indica and sativa, or for asking what a terpene is. That's literally what they're there for. Know your budget: Cannabis prices vary widely. You can find quality flower starting at very accessible price points, with premium and top-shelf options available for those who want them. Let your budtender know your budget and they'll work within it.
Think about your goals: Do you want to relax after work? Get creative? Sleep better? Manage pain? Different products and strains serve different purposes. The more your budtender knows about what you're looking for, the better they can help.
Don't be afraid to ask questions: Seriously. "What's your most popular product right now?" is a perfectly great question. So is "What would you recommend for someone who's never tried cannabis?"
